Report: Lozano family to shoulder driver's burial expenses

The family of Marcos lawyer Oliver Lozano will help shoulder the burial expenses of driver Ernani Sencil, who was brutally killed along with their son Emerson Lozano in a carjacking incident last week. A report by radio dzBB's Denver Trinidad said the Lozano family made the pledge to the relatives of Sencil, who will be buried on Saturday. Sencil's relatives are holding a wake for him in Signal Village in Taguig City. Sencil left behind a widow and three daughters. He will be buried Saturday at the Loyola Memorial Park, the dzBB report said. Sencil, 34, was killed along with Lozano's son Emerson, 44, shortly after they disappeared on January 12 in Quezon City. The two were on their way at the time to meet a prospective buyer of Emerson's Kia Carnival van. While Sencil's charred body was found in Tarlac on January 13, Emerson's charred body was found in Pampanga on January 14. Lozano was buried on Thursday. Lozano's van was found burning in a lot in Bataan province on Wednesday. – VVP, GMANews.TV
