Magnitude-3.4 quake rocks Mindanao — Phivolcs


A magnitude-3.4 quake rocked the Agusan area in Mindanao on Sunday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. According to Phivolcs, the quake was recorded at 9:53 a.m. and was tectonic in origin. No initial report of damage or casualty was reported. In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the epicenter was 49 kilometer southeast of Prosperidad town in Agusan del Sur. Phivolcs did not immediately cite specific areas where the quake was felt. No aftershock was expected from Sunday morning's quake, it said. — JE, GMA News
