PHIVOLCS: Magnitude-3.3 quake rocks Ilocos Norte

A magnitude-3.3 quake rocked Ilocos Norte province Saturday night, but there was no immediate report of damage or casualty. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake was recorded at 7:43 p.m. and was tectonic in origin. In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the epicenter was traced to 137 km northwest of Currimao town in Ilocos Norte. However, Phivolcs did not immediately cite specific areas where the quake was felt.
