2nd Beverly Hills 6750 branch to open in QC next month

High-end aesthetic center Beverly Hills 6750 will open a branch in Quezon City next month and is looking at creating another in southern Metro Manila within the year. In a press conference Monday, Beverly Hills 6750 chief executive officer Suzette Hahn Lopez said the company will inaugurate its 500-square-meter clinic on Timog Avenue by mid-March. Beverly Hills 6750 has an existing clinic in Makati City. Lopez said the upcoming P30-million facility would offer beauty problem solutions such as cosmetic gynecology, cosmetic surgery, dental, dermatological, and hair transplant services, among others. Eduardo Santos, Beverly Hills 6750 president, said the additional branch would help sustain the company's annual revenue growth of about 20 percent. Lopez said the company has a market share of 15-20 percent. Beverly Hills 6750 medical director Bernabe Marinduque said the beauty and healthcare sector was among those least affected by the recent global recession. People would want to be beautiful amid hard times, Marinduque explained. Santos said almost a third of the company's clientele are Filipinos based abroad. They have opted to undergo beauty treatments here where costs are 50 percent cheaper than in countries like the US. A growing number of foreign clients from Australia, Guam and the UK are also availing of Beverly Hills 6750's services, according to Santos. Their customers spend an average of P100,000 for various procedures, Lopez said. Lopez pointed out that Filipino aesthetic centers can compete with their counterparts overseas, but intensified marketing efforts are needed to boost the country's medical tourism industry. — JE, GMA News
