PDEA agents nab 80 people in QC anti-drug ops

At least 80 suspected drug users and pushers were rounded up in a new anti-drug operation in Quezon City Tuesday morning. The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested the suspects while serving a search warrant issued by a Manila court, according to a report by radio dzBB's Allan Gatus. PDEA agents conducted the operation in seven neighborhoods in the city's Novaliches district, the report said. It added the 80 were brought to the Quezon City Treatment and Rehabilitation Center. Only last week, PDEA agents rounded up 100 suspected drug addicts and pushers in suspected drug lairs in Barangay Pinyahan. — LBG, GMA News
