Calamba City traffic exec killed in ambush

Unidentified motorcycle-riding men shot dead a traffic executive in Calamba City in Laguna province Friday morning. Calamba police said they are gathering leads on the two men who shot dead Calamba City Traffic Management Office chief Nonie Natividad. "May tama (ang biktima) sa ulo at dibdib (The victim was hit in the head and chest)," PO2 Joel Pineda of the Calamba City Police Office said in an interview on dzBB radio. An initial investigation showed Natividad was driving a vehicle when the suspects on a red motorcycle pulled up alongside and opened fire at Natividad.
