Aquino admin to launch 5 PPP projects Monday

The Aquino administration will unveil Monday five projects in its public-private partnership (PPP) initiative for infrastructure, the Department of Finance said over the weekend. At the same time, government will inaugurate a satellite office at the Development Bank of the Philippines. The office will be dealing with PPP projects, according to the Finance Department. Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, Socioeconomic Secretary Cayetano Paderanga Jr., Trade Secretary Gregory Domingo, Public Works Secretary Rogelio Singson, Transportation Secretary Jose de Jesus, and PPP Center Executive Director Phil Torio are among those who will launch the PPP office and the five initial projects. Plans to raise money for infrastructure projects will also be revealed Monday by the economic managers, the Finance Department said. — VS, GMA News
