3 killed, 1 hurt as car falls into Benguet ravine

Three people were killed and another was injured after a car fell into a ravine along Kennon Road in Benguet province Sunday morning, police said. The fatalities were identified by local police as driver Francisco Orencia, Clotelda Balderas, and Marie Caoili, all residents of Baguio City. The fatalities died on the spot after the red Pajero they were riding on fell into a four-meter ravine along Kennon Road in Barangay Tokang, Tuba town at about 8 a.m., according to Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr. The lone survivor, Marilyn Camacho, was rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center, and is currently undergoing treatment, he added.
