Police searching for woman who aborted, crushed fetus in Pasig

The police are now looking for a laundrywoman suspected of having an unborn baby aborted, crushed, and dumped in Pasig City before dawn on Monday. A report by radio dzBB's Glen Juego on Monday said the residents caught two young men trying to dump the fetus along Molave Street in Sikat Araw village, Pasig City. Estimated to be about six to seven months old, the fetus was found wrapped in a blue cloth and placed inside a yellow-green paper bag. The authorities could not immediately tell if the fetus was male or female because it was crushed. "Nang in-interview ang binatilyo rito may nag-utos ilibing ang fetus (When local residents questioned the two men trying to dump the fetus, they said they were merely ordered to do so)," said Kenneth Molina, a resident in the area. The report quoted the two men as saying the mother of the unborn baby was a laundrywoman. Meanwhile, a newborn baby was left in front of the Daughters of Christ Charity along East Service Road in Parañaque City. The baby, placed in a box with a small pillow, was brought to the Hospicio de San Jose, according to a report by dzBB's Manny Vargas. – VVP, GMA News
