A sixth Filipino fatality in last month's magnitude-6.3 quake in New Zealand was identified on Wednesday. Emmabelle Cabahug Anoba, 26, was among 11 fatalities identified by the New Zealand police in a news release. The other 10 fatalities identified on Wednesday were:
Heidi Julie Berg, 36, of Christchurch; Yuki Hasumoto, 22, of Japan; Tomoki Ishikuro, 19, of Japan; Saori Kikuda, 19, of Japan; De Li, 18, of China; Wanju Li, 44, of China; Emi Murakami, 19, of Japan; Saya Sakuda, 19, of Japan; Yurika Uchihira, 19, of Japan; and Saki Yokota, 19, of Japan. With the 11, the number of identified fatalities went up to 140, the New Zealand police said. The other Filipino fatalities identified earlier included: Valquin Descalsota Bensurto, 23; Lalaine Collado Agatep, 38; Erica Avir Reyes Nora, 20; Jewel Jose Francisco, 26; and Ivy Jane Cabunilas, 33 Still missing are at least six more Filipinos, including: Jessie Lloyd Redoble; John Kristoffer Chua; Ezra Mae Medalle; Mary Louise Anne Amantillo; and Rhea Mae Sumalpong. â VVP, GMA News
