NZ police name 7th Pinoy fatality in quake

The number of Filipino fatalities in last month's magnitude-6.3 quake that hit New Zealand rose to seven on Thursday. New Zealand police said John Kristoffer Villegas Chua, 24, was one of two fatalities they identified as victims of the Feb. 21 quake that hit the Christchurch area hardest. Also identified on Thursday was Chang Lai, 27, of China. The number of identified fatalities went up to 142, the police said. The other Filipino fatalities identified earlier included:

* Emmabelle Cabahug Anoba, 26; * Valquin Descalsota Bensurto, 23; * Lalaine Collado Agatep, 38; * Erica Avir Reyes Nora, 20; * Jewel Jose Francisco, 26; and * Ivy Jane Cabunilas, 33

Still missing are at least four more Filipinos, including:

* Jessie Lloyd Redoble; * Ezra Mae Medalle; * Mary Louise Anne Amantillo; and * Rhea Mae Sumalpong
