EARNINGS: Cebu Pacific profits up to P6.9B in 2010

Gokongwei-led Cebu Air Inc. on Friday said its net income last year doubled on the back of the company's revenue management system that helped maintain high passenger loads. In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the budget carrier said its profits reached P6.922 billion last year, up 113 percent from 2009's P3.258 billion. The operator of Cebu Pacific airline noted that its sales totaled P29.089 billion a year ago, 25 percent higher than the P23.311-billion revenues recorded in 2009. — JE, GMA News
