489 pass medical technologist licensure exam


A total of 489 of the 806 examinees passed the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination given in Manila, Baguio and Cebu this month, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said Monday. Jose Louie Remotigue of Southwestern Universite topped the list of passers with a rating of 89.69 percent, followed by Rayna Abendan of Cebu Doctors’ University with 87.80 percent and Paul Rothwel de Jesus of the Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) with 87.50 percent. The others in the top ten were: 4. Clint Edel Frias (Our Lady of Fatima University-Valenzuela) – 86.70 5. Lito Jay Dumayas (Cento Escolar University-Manila or CEU) – 86.60 6. Terrence Edward Lee (Saint Louis University) – 86.50 7. John Mark Tuting (AUP) – 86.30 8. Joseph Reuel Cruz (CEU) – 86.20 9. Jennifer Aubrey Molina (St. Scholastica’s College-Tacloban or SSC) – 86.10 Ma. Cecilia Vanessa Serrano (CEU) – 86.10 10. Jenes Manching (SSC) – 85.70 The top performing schools meanwhile are: 1. Saint Louis University – 100 percent passing rate 2. Far Eastern University – Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation – 96.88 percent 3. University of San Agustin – 92.59 percent 4. University of Santo Tomas – 81.08 percent 5.
