2 of 3 drug mules meet with kin before execution in China

Hours before their scheduled execution, two of three Filipino drug mules had their last meeting with members of their families Wednesday morning. Philippine consul Noel Novicio said Sally Ordinario-Villanueva and Ramon Credo were meeting with their families in Xiamen as of 8 a.m. "By now, according to schedule, ongoing na ang meeting ng family ni Ramon Credo at Sally Villanueva sa kanilang loved ones sa Xiamen," Novicio said in an interview on dzBB radio. He said the third drug mule, Elizabeth Batain, was scheduled to meet with her family in Guangzhou after the scheduled promulgation of her sentence. Novicio said two China-based Filipino priests had been sent to Xiamen and Guangzhou to talk to the Filipino drug mules' kin. "Two days na naroon ang pari at kinakausap ang families (The priests had been there two days and are talking to the families)," he said. — LBG, GMA News
