2 people dead, 1 missing in sea accident off Cavite

(Updated 10:40 p.m.) At least two fishermen were reported dead while another remained missing following a predawn collision between a motor tanker and a fishing boat off Cavite Friday. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said 66 fishermen from the fishing boat "Lady Aleah" were rescued and in good condition. In its 6 p.m. report, the NDRRMC identified the fatalities as Eric Aperto and Mark Navarro. Still missing was Armando Huab. The NDRRMC said the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) issued a Notice to Mariners in the area to be on the lookout for Huab. Earlier, the Coast Guard's initial investigation showed the motor tanker "Hagonoy" was heading for Manila from Rosario, Cavite, when it collided with the Lady Aleah. PCG Commandant Admiral Wilfredo Tamayo ordered an investigation into the incident, which the Coast Guard said occurred at about 3 a.m. Meanwhile, the NDRRMC identified the rescued fishermen as:
