Suspected victim of summary execution found in QC

The brutalized body of a suspected victim of summary execution was found in a garbage dump in Quezon City early on Wednesday. The police said the victim could have been killed in the area because the residents heard five gunshots before dawn, radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported. "Mga 3:00 a.m. may narinig na gunshot, limang putok ng baril ang narinig nila (At about 3 a.m., local residents heard at least five gunshots)," a police investigator said. The local residents found the body of the unidentified man at a garbage dump along Jordan Street in Novaliches and reported the matter to the police at about 7:00 a.m., the report added. The initial investigation showed that the victim was naked from the waist up and his hands were bound. A handkerchief was tied around his neck, the report added. – VVP, GMA News
