PHL Embassy in Bahrain closed April 21-23


The Philippine Embassy in Bahrain announced on Monday it will be closed to the public from April 21 to 23. In a notice posted on its website, the Embassy said it will resume office on Easter Sunday, April 24. "The Embassy will be closed to the public on 21 April 2011, in observance of Maundy Thursday. Office will resume on Sunday, April 24." April 21 and 22 are considered regular holidays in the Philippines for 2011, by virtue of Proclamation 84. It did not indicate if its regular phone numbers or email can be reached in an emergency.
