GMA News Online iPhone app launched

Fresh on the heels of its Android app —the first of its kind in the country— GMA News Online is now proud to launch its own news app for the Apple iPhone. The GMA News Online app is now available for free for all iPhone users, enabling everyone to easily download the latest news content and read it at their convenience. Stories can even be shared with friends on Facebook. With the GMA News Online iPhone app, news stories and photos are automatically updated when one connects to the Internet. Users can then browse the news offline at their leisure, saving on browsing costs as Internet time is only used for quick content updates. Everything is downloaded straight to the iPhone. The current version is recommended for the iPhone, but also works for the iPad. "Our new iPhone app is part of our effort to compete in the exploding mobile Internet field. We now have both Android and Apple apps, but we're far from done. Our philosophy is constant improvement," said GMA News Online Editor-in-Chief Howie Severino.
