Chevron to roll back fuel prices Wednesday noon

Chevron Philippines Inc. (formerly Caltex) will roll back its fuel prices Wednesday noon, a day after raising the prices of its oil products. Chevron communications manager Toby Nebrida announced said the company will reduce the prices of their Gold, Gold E10, Silver, and Silver E10 gasoline by P0.60 per liter by 12 p.m. It likewise said it will be reducing the prices of oil products by:

  • P0.25 per liter for diesel;
  • P0.70 per liter for regular gasoline, and
  • P0.40 per liter for kerosene. Nebrida said the rollback was caused by "market forces."
    The oil firm hiked its fuel prices on Tuesday morning by the same rates as the rollback on Wednesday. As of posting time, there were no similar announcements from other oil firms. — Kimberly Jane Tan/RSJ/VVP, GMA News
