PEP: Ryza Cenon has aquaphobia; will avoid beach this summer

Most actresses covet the role of Dyesebel, but Ryza Cenon doesn't. That's because of a traumatic experience she had when she was a kid. "Nalunod kasi ako nung bata pa ako," she revealed in an interview during the Ogie-Regine's Celebrity Ukay-Ukay last April 15 at the World Trade Center. The female survivor of StarStruck Batch 2 added, "Pero hindi ko na matandaan mga detalye kasi bata pa ako nun." Hence, while most stars her age are planning for a beach getaway or a swimming activity this summer, Ryza will just stay at home. "Hindi kasi ako mahilig sa beach, sa swimming pool, ganun....Takot ako sa tubig. Hindi pa ako marunong lumangoy, kasi takot nga ako," the Kapuso actress said. The same thing will happen this Holy Week. "Wala, e. Walang plano lumabas o ano...Kasi, may work ako. "Ang hirap naman kung mag-book ako sa isang lugar tapos mabibitin lang ako. Mas mabuti pang mag-stay na lang sa house o malapit sa bahay." Lastly, we inquired about her thinner frame. Did she lose weight? "Sabi nga nila..." she answered. But asked for her slimming secret, she said, "Sa buhok." To elaborate, "Feeling ko....Kasi dating sanay 'yong taong nakikitang mahaba 'yong buhok ko, so nagiging round yong face. "Then nung nagmaiksi na ako, tsaka lang nakita yong shape ng mukha ko." - Karen A. Pagsolingan, PEP
