6 hospitalized for food poisoning in Misamis — NDRRMC


A family of six was rushed to a hospital Friday afternoon after suffering from food poisoning when they ate canned fish for lunch. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said the incident occurred at the Abrea residence in Alubijid town in Misamis Oriental. In its 3 p.m. report, the NDRRMC identified the victims as:

    * Rodel Abrea, 45; * Levy Abrea, 44 (female); * Jomal Abrea, 19; * Roselyn Abrea, 17; * Jalo Abrea, 16 (female); and * Jennifer Abrea, 10
The NDRRMC said the victims were brought to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center in Cagayan de Oro for treatment. Health authorities are still looking into what caused the incident, the NDRRMC said. — LBG, GMA News
