CAMP RAFAEL RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The newly formed SWAT unit of the Butuan City Police on Monday received a big boost in its anti-crime campaign after it received a donation of 14 brand new M-16 rifles from a lawmaker. The donation came from Agusan del Norte Rep. CARAGA Police Regional Director Chief Superintendent Reynaldo S. Rafal personally received the firearms in a simple turnover ceremony held at the PNP Regional Office conference room on Monday afternoon. “The new high-powered firearms will be of great help to enhance operational capability of the police force to confront criminaly, especially in the creation of the SWAT team a month ago", Rafal said in thanking Aquino.
