Cops suspect LTO robbery was 'inside job'

The police suspect that the robbery that happened at the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Quezon City during the Holy Week was an "inside job." The break-in was discovered early on Monday and authorities estimate that the suspects took some P140,000 worth of properties, radio dzBB reported Tuesday. The initial investigation showed that the intruders entered the LTO's second floor by removing an airconditioning unit and going through the wall opening. After breaking in, the intruders then ransacked the drawers at two offices including the plate custodial section, and took valuables, including special license plates. Quezon City police investigators questioned the guards on duty during the Holy Week, according to an earlier report by dzBB's Allan Gatus. - VVP, GMA News
