Moy Lainez, ring superstar Manny Pacquiao's former trainer, believes Sugar Shane Mosley will experience the same beating that he suffered when he faced Floyd Mayweather Jr. last year. Only this time, it's going to be meaner and nastier.

Magbibigay ng magandang laban si Mosley in the first three rounds. But after three rounds, Pacquiao na 'yan.
– Moy Lainez, Pacquiao's former trainer
Lainez, who teamed up with Rod Nazario and Lito Mondejar in managing Pacquiao's early ring career, believes Mosley has no chance of pulling off an upset against the reigning World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion in their May 7 (May 8 in Manila) showdown at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Lainez, a boxing expert and analyst, said former three-time world champion Mosley is bound to suffer the same fate he had when he fought Mayweather in May 5, 2010 in a 12-round non-title fight. Mosley lost to his brash-talking opponent by way of a lopsided unanimous decision, although he rocked Mayweather in the second round with a looping right hand. Mayweather, who was momentarily stunned with that right hand, then went on to dominate the rest of the match. But against the 32-year-old Pacquiao, an eight-time world champion and the current top pound-for-pound fighter in the world, the ageing challenger from Pomona, California may even be up for worst. "Pacman yan. Matagal na ang eight rounds," he said. "Pinaka-maagaa? Anytime yan. Alam mo naman si Manny, may lakas. Tumama lang yan baka matapos na agad." At 39 and having won his last fight against Antonio Margarito in 2009, Mosley has been installed as a 6-2 underdog against the fighting congressman from the Philippines. No way will Lainez go against the odds. But to be even, he expects the American challenger to give Pacquiao a good fight in the early rounds. "Magbibigay ng magandang laban si Mosley in the first three rounds," said Lainez. "But after three rounds, Pacquiao na 'yan." Only one way does he sees Mosley pulling one of boxing's biggest upsets. "Pinaka-panalo na ni Mosley 'yung lucky punch," he said. – JVP, GMA News
