PNoy to int'l media: Give royal couple privacy

President Benigno Aquino III on Thursday asked the international media to give Prince William and Kate Middleton space during their first months of marriage. At a press briefing, presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda said the President hopes "the media can afford them a level of privacy so they can establish a marriage foundation." It can be recalled that Aquino, the country's most-watched bachelor, had urged the media to allow him to keep his romantic pursuits private. Lacierda said the royal couple are like "fishes on the bowl. They will be in eyes of the public."
