President Benigno Aquino III ordered the prepositioning of relief goods to areas affected by tropical storm "Bebeng" (Aure), Malacañang said Sunday. Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said Aquino also ordered the early identification and preparation of evacuation centers for affected folk. She said the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has also beefed up its monitoring of storm Bebeng. Valte said the Palace expects PAGASA to give hourly updates on the storm's track. PAGASA's hourly updates are posted on its Twitter account.
