PAGASA keeps eye on another potential cyclone

State weather forecasters are keeping watch over a potential new cyclone that may enter Philippine territory as early as Thursday. Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration forecaster Jori Loiz said the disturbance is still a low-pressure area at this time. "Meron pa kaming binabantayan, inaasahan naming papasok ito by Huwebes. Hindi pa ito bagyo, LPA pa. Tinitingnan natin ang posibilidad maging bagyo (We are keeping watch over a potential cyclone, which may enter Philippine territory as early as Thursday. It is still an LPA as of now. We are analyzing its chances of becoming a cyclone)," Loiz said in an interview on dzBB radio. If the disturbance becomes a cyclone and enters Philippine territory, it will be codenamed "Chedeng," the third cyclone in the country this year.
