1 dead, 12 injured in CamSur road mishap — report

A woman died as the passenger jeep she was riding turned upside down along the Governor Fuentebella Highway in Camarines Sur Saturday. The fatality was identified as Leny Quingkin, 24, who died of head injuries, according to a report by Bombo Radyo. Twelve other passengers were injured, the report said. They were rushed to the Bicol Medical Center for treatment. The report said the passenger jeep went out of control after overtaking another jeep. Local police are now looking for driver Randy de Juan who allegedly fled the scene. — ELR/JE, GMA News
