12-foot python captured in Rizal
A 12-foot-long python was captured in Cainta town in Rizal province Tuesday morning, but not before causing a scare among some of the residents there. The python was sighted at a vacant lot in San Andres village, according to a report by radio dzBB's Glen Juego. "We received a call from residents that the python had eaten a chicken in the area," said "Fidel," one of the residents who captured the python. He theorized the python may have been resting after having its last full meal. Fidel said he managed to capture the python by quickly tying its mouth with electrical tape. The python was to be turned over to environment authorities, the same report said. — RSJ, GMA News
