Leyte grad tops 2,130 CPA licensure exam passers


An Accountancy graduate from Palo, Leyte topped this year’s list passers of Certified Public Accountant licensure examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday. Marwin Agamon Baldevia, a graduate from Saint Paul’s Business School, earned a percentage score of 92.14. According to the PRC, of the 5,259 who took the exam, a total of 2,130 passed. Seodel Hearty Tabaldo Pilapil from San Beda College and Darwin Bellido Saribay from Tomas del Rosario Academy (91.86) 4. Hegiño JA Vellana Chua Jr. and Viktor Xenon Oliva Lequin, both from University of San Carlos (91.57) 5. Jay Ann Dominguez Estavillo from Technological Institute of the Philippines-Manila (90.86) 6. Gilson Ycong Pino from University of San Carlos (90.71) 7. Don Lorenzo Perea Soriano from De La Salle University-Manila (90.57) 8. Maria Patricia Pernia Faner from De La Salle University and Arnold Remando Isip from Holy Angel University (90.29) 9. Leo Angelo Mejos Larcia from De La Salle University-Manila, Martha Anne Perez from Miriam College, and Ervina Suzette Ching Tan from De La Salle University-Manila (90.00) 10. Marian Cristy Valdestamon Bartolome from Far Eastern University-Manila, Dhexter Tajantajan Caduyac from Notre Dame of Kidapawan College, and Dennis Cabunlas Magallanes from Dr. Filemon C.
