Golden Wheel awardee Aguilar tops Dipolog leg


Golden Wheel Awardee and first Asian Motocross Champion Glenn Aguilar topped both the Pro-Lites and Pro-Open events in the fifth leg of the 2011 Enersel Forte National Motocross Series on May 21 and 22 in Dipolog City. Other riders who topped their respective divisions were Jimuel Nacua (Beginner Local Open Enduro), Atong Mangosong (Intermediate), Ompong Gabriel (50cc), BJ Pepito (65cc), Jougee Basco (85cc), Mark Medina (Beginner Open Prod). Timoy Olmoquez (Novice Open Prod), Saisai Busayung (Novice Production B Lites), Basio Alinon (Underbone Open), Michael Rivera (Underbone Local Open), Pia Gabriel (Ladies), Jimuel Nacua (Open Local Enduro). Dexter Bacabac (Executive A Veterans), Hermis Bantoc (Executive B 40 years old and above) and Paul June Padilla (Executive C). SEL-J Sports president Jay Lacnit also joined the race and finished third in the Executive B event and 16th in the Executive A category.
