CebuPac cancels 2 flights to Central Visayas due to bad weather

Air carrier Cebu Pacific on Friday morning canceled at least two flights bound for the Central Visayas area due to bad weather. In an advisory on its Facebook page, Cebu Pacific said the canceled flights include:

• 5J-625: Manila to Dumaguete (Negros Oriental)
• 5J-867: Cebu to Dumaguete

It said affected passengers will be accommodated on the next available flights, and asked passengers to stay tuned for developments. "We always place top priority in your safety; thank you for your understanding," it said. Earlier this week, Chedeng brought heavy rains and winds to parts of Bicol, Visayas and Mindanao. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said at least one person had been reported killed due to Chedeng.— LBG, GMA News
