Fire hits Pasay City residential area


A fire believed caused by a stove left unattended hit a residential area in Pasay City early Sunday morning. No one was initially reported injured in the blaze along M. dela Cruz Street, according to a report by radio dzBB's Mao dela Cruz. The report said the fire started at 6:34 a.m. and reached the third alarm before firefighters placed it under control around 7:30 a.m. An initial investigation showed the fire started at the house of one Rey Intal, at 2427 M. dela Cruz St. The fire spread quickly because many of the houses in the area were made of light materials, the report said. Estimates of damage were not immediately available.— LBG, GMA News
