Two Nigerian drug dealers fall in sting

At least two Nigerians suspected to be members of a drug syndicate were arrested in a sting operation in Rizal province on Monday night. The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said the two suspects, who were not immediately identified, had arranged to sell one kilogram of cocaine to undercover agents. However, the PDEA said the two tried to elude arrest by repeatedly changing the venue of the supposed sale, radio dzBB's Manny Vargas reported on Tuesday. PDEA agents said the two first arranged to sell the cocaine in Pasay City, then changed the venue to Makati City, and then to Rizal province. After their arrest in Rizal province, the two were brought to PDEA headquarters in Quezon City for further questioning. The report quoted PDEA agents as saying they are looking into information the two Nigerians belong to a syndicate that uses Filipinos as drug mules. - VVP, GMA News
