Hacker defaces DILG website

A hacker defaced Tuesday the website of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), displaying the logo of a porn site as one of the agency's "news items." The "What's New in DILG" section of the DILG's home page contained a link boasting that the website had been "hacked."

The home page of the DILG as of 8:09 p.m. Tuesday containing a link to the hacked section. The page was taken down before 8:30 p.m.
Clicking on the link would take the visitor to a page supposedly containing a news item. But instead of a news item, the visitor would see a logo of porn site YouJizz. Both pages were still online as of 8 p.m. Tuesday, even as the date on the news item page indicated it was set up only on May 31.

The hacker identified himself or herself as "BatangMahiligMagbatibot" in the compromised page. But as of 8:25 p.m., several pages on the site were taken offline, with an error message indicating the site is "currently having technical problems and will be back as soon as these problems are resolved." — KBK, GMA News
