Lebanese hacker hits another Sony website

Sony suffered yet another online attack, after a Lebanese hacker broke into its application store in Europe and posted some of the stolen data online over the weekend. Lebanese hacker Idahc claimed to have hacked the Database of Application Store at Sony Europe (apps.pro.sony.eu/), The Hacker News reported. The attack came after hackers broke into the sites of Sony Pictures and even Sony Ericsson, according to a report on The Hacker News. The report said the attack involved an SQL injection, and was able to compromise the data of some 120 users. Last month, Idahc had claimed to break into Sony Ericsson’s e-commerce site and posted a database to pastebin, com containing password hashes, email addresses and full names. An earlier article on Softpedia said that the hacker described himself as Lebanese. “I am Idahc a Lebanese hacker and I am Back. I hacked The database of ca.eshop.sonyericsson.com with a simple sql injection," he told Softpedia in an email that also includes a screenshot of the attack. — TJD, GMA News
