Phivolcs: Magnitude-3.7 quake rocks Camarines area

A magnitude-3.7 quake rocked the Camarines Sur area in Bicol Monday morning and was felt as far as Quezon province in the Southern Luzon region. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake was recorded at 9:51 a.m. and was tectonic in origin. In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the epicenter was 20 kilometers (km) southwest of Ragay in Camarines Sur. Phivolcs said the quake was felt at Intensity II in Guinayangan town in Quezon province. However, Phivolcs said no damage or aftershock was expected from the quake. - VVP, GMA News
