Dentists targeted in molestation, robbery incidents
The Philippine Dental Association has alerted its members about a series of crimes subjecting dentists to molestation and robbery, GMA Newsâ â24 Oras" reported Monday. In the â24 Oras" report, PDA president Dr. Roberto Tajonera urged dentists to install closed-circuit television or CCTV cameras and employ male bodyguards after a rise in complaints from various parts of Luzon about a new modus operandi targeting dentists. One of the victims, who requested anonymity, exposed the new modus operandi in an exclusive interview with â24 Oras."

Arlene said the suspect also tied her to a dental chair and molested her. âTinututukan niya ako ng kutsilyo," Arlene recalled. âNakakainis na rin yung nangyayari eh. Sobrang kapal na ng mukha nito, kasi walang nakakahuli sa kanya," the dentist added. The newscast said similar cases were reported in Bulacan, Antipolo, Marikina, and Manila. â PE/VS, GMA News
