Hackers deface UNICEF site

Hackers believed to be from a Pakistani gang defaced the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Bulgarian website, a hacker news site reported Wednesday. The Hacker News said the Pakistani hacker group ZCompany Hacking Crew attacked the UNICEF site http://unicef.bg/bg. While the site appeared normal as of Wednesday morning, an image of the defaced site can still be accessed at http://www.zone-h.org/mirror/id/14163920. In the defaced site, the hackers called for action for children in Palestine and Kashmir. "Everday (sic) Innocents are being Killed in Palestine and Kashmir. One third of the Killed are innocent Kids, some who escape these attacks by israeli and Indian Amries, have to live their whole lives with disabilies, We see UNICEF playing their Part in Africa but they always neglect Palestine and Kashmir," the group said. "Why UNICEF do nothing for Children of Palestine and Kashmir? Why our Kids are always ignored? They are not kids? They don't have innocence? Or UNICEF don't know any Palestine any Kashmir. Stop dual policies and start relief process in Palestine & Kashmir," it added. UNICEF is the UN body seeking to "influence decision-makers, and the variety of partners at grassroots level to turn the most innovative ideas into reality" for the young. "We work in 190 countries through country programmes and National Committees," it said. — RSJ, GMA News
