Maynilad: Water service interruptions in parts of Valenzuela, Bulacan

Residents in some parts of Valenzuela City and Bulacan province may have started experiencing water service interruptions starting 9 p.m. Wednesday, as concessionaire Maynilad Water started upgrading its pipe network in Valenzuela City. In an advisory, Maynilad said this is due to the replacing of old valves and declogging pipes along M.H. Del Pilar cor. Pariancillo, Pasolo Road corner G. Lazaro, and Rincon corner Pelo 1 Subdivision in Valenzuela. "These activities are expected to improve water pressure in parts of Valenzuela and Bulacan aside from efficiently managing the water supply in the West zone," it said in its advisory. Maynilad said the "service improvement project" started 9 p.m. Wednesday and will last until 7 p.m. Thursday. Expected to experience water service interruptions are Malinta, Arkong Bato, Pasolo , Pariancillo Villa, Rincon, Balangkas, Mabolo, Wawang Pulo, Poblacion, Polo, and Palasan in Valenzuela City; and areas served by the Obando Water District in Bulacan. Maynilad advised customers in these areas to store enough water for the duration of the service improvement project.
