Ex-President Arroyo rushed to hospital for pinched nerve

(Updated 4:08 p.m.) Former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was rushed to the hospital Thursday, her spokesperson Elena Bautista-Horn told GMA News. Her condition was initially diagnosed as cervical radiculopathy or more commonly known as a pinched nerve, Horn said. Horn added that Arroyo, who now sits as the representative of Pampanga's second district, is now in stable condition. In a tweet, GMA News reporter Joseph Morong said that Dato Arroyo, the former President’s youngest son, and his family arrived at the St. Luke’s Medical Center to visit his mother. — ACC/JMT/PE/VS, GMA News
