Cops produce sketches of 2 suspects in QC carjacking

Police have produced sketches of at least two of three suspects who shot dead a woman during a carjacking incident in Quezon City last Wednesday. The Quezon City Police District said witnesses gave them enough details to produce sketches of the two suspects, radio dzBB reported Friday. Quezon City police are still tracking down the suspects who shot dead Teresita Teano after taking her Hyundai Accent car near a meditation center.

One of the suspects was described as 5'5" to 5'8" tall, brown-complexioned, and 31 to 33 years old. A second suspect was described as long-haired, 4'11" to 5 feet tall, fair-complexioned, and 28 to 30 years old. An initial investigation had showed that Teano was heading into the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center at the corner of Kamuning Road and T. Gener Street when she was attacked. The men then took her maroon Hyundai Accent and allegedly ran over her with it while fleeing. Wednesday's incident was the latest in a series of violent incidents since Tuesday night, when four armed men blocked the car of a woman in Quezon City and shot her dead with high-powered firearms. — RSJ, GMA News
