Remains of hero OFW arrive home from Hong Kong
The remains of an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who died on June 10 after saving her six-year-old ward in Hong Kong were brought home on Tuesday. Juanita Limbago’s remains arrived Tuesday afternoon at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) aboard a Philippine Airlines flight, radio dzBB’s Nimfa Ravelo reported on Wednesday. Limbago died on June 10 after she was run over by a bus but not before pushing her ward away from the path of the bus.

According to the dzBB report, the relatives of Limbago fetched Limbago's casket from the PAL Cargo Terminal while her mother and her husband prepared the family house in Makati City for the wake. The relatives said it was Limbago's first time to work abroad and that she had been in Hong Kong for only two months and 10 days. Limbago's relatives described her as a very kind mother who was close even to her husband’s kin. The OWWA said her family will receive P200,000 in insurance benefits and P20,000 in burial benefits. - VVP, GMA News
