2 female cadavers found inside freezer in Laguna

(Updated 9:26 p.m.) Two women were found dead inside a freezer in a warehouse in San Pablo City in Laguna province on Wednesday, a police official said. Senior Superintendent Gilbert Cruz, Laguna provincial police chief, identified the two as Vilma Bandilao and Letecia Lupian, who were both living in the warehouse. A report by GMA News' Raffy Tima on "24 Oras" said the warehouse is owned by Romy Go, who said they first noticed that something was wrong in the warehouse last Monday. "Usually may nagwawalis daw dito sa surrounding [ng warehouse]... for almost two days di sila nakikita," Go said in the report.

The report said Lupian was the mother of the person renting the warehouse while Bandilao was her niece. It said barangay officials first went to the warehouse on Monday but they were refused entry by Lupian's daughter Charlene, who was in Belgium. They were only allowed entry Wednesday accompanied by a representative sent by the person renting the warehouse. The report said barangay officials found the victims' room in disarray. They also found blood splatters on the walls, prompting them to call the police. Cruz said they have yet to determine if the victims were shot or stabbed since the cadavers were frozen. "They are still being processed by [Scene of the Crime Operatives], our investigators saw blood inside so definitely they suffered wounds," he said. Considered suspect in the crime was one Fajardo Corpuz, the driver who was last seen Saturday. The company-owned van was also missing, Cruz said. - KBK, GMA News
