Classes in Rosario, Cavite suspended due to bad weather


Classes in Rosario, Cavite were suspended on Thursday due to bad weather triggered by tropical storm "Falcon" (international name: Meari). Department of Education (DepEd) Region IV-A head Lorna Dino said the local government ordered the suspension, according to a report of radio dzBB's Glen Juego. The report said the suspension covers classes in the preparatory, elementary and high school levels. Rains brought by "Falcon" had affected several parts of the country, including Southern Luzon, Bicol, and Visayas. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration's (PAGASA) 5:00 a.m. bulletin said Storm Signal No. 1 was hoisted over Albay, Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Isabela, Cagayan, Calayan, Babuyan, and Batanes. - VVP, GMA News
