Cebu Pacific cancels 3rd batch of flights due to ‘Falcon’


Cebu Pacific on Thursday afternoon canceled a third batch of flights due to bad weather conditions brought by tropical storm "Falcon" (Meari). In another announcement on its Facebook page, it said the affected flights were: * 5J-172 and 5J-173: Cebu to Legaspi and back * 5J-917 and 5J-918: Manila to Caticlan and back * 5J-911 and 5J-912: Manila to Caticlan and back * 5J-903 and 5J-904: Manila to Caticlan and back * 5J-905 and 5J-906: Manila to Caticlan and back In an earlier Facebook announcement, Cebu Pacific canceled at least 18 flights: * 5J-132 and 5J-133: Cebu to Caticlan and back * 5J-893 and 5J-894: Manila to Caticlan and back * 5J-767 and 5J-768: Manila to Surigao and back * 5J-896 and 5J-897: Manila to Caticlan and back * 5J-913 and 5J-914: Manila to Caticlan and back Early Thursday, radio dzBB reported Cebu Pacific initially announced the cancellation of eight flights to Bicol and the Visayas: * 5J-325 and 5J-326: Manila to Legaspi (Albay) and back * 5J-891 and 5J-892: Manila to Caticlan and back * 5J-711 and 5J-712: Manila to Catarman and back * 5J-521 and 5J-522: Manila to Naga and back Cebu Pacific said affected passengers will be accommodated on the next available flights. "You may also rebook within 30 days of cancellation or Travel Funds without penalties," it said.
