Fire hits BSP compound in QC

Despite a heavy downpour, a fire struck the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) compound in Quezon City, a television report said Friday. In a report aired over GMA News TV's Balitanghali, reporter Chino Gasto said the fire seems to be coming from a building within the BSP Security Plant Complex along East Avenue in Quezon City. Gaston said that firetrucks have arrived on the scene but that they have yet to determine the degree of the fire. — Kimberly Jane Tan/RSJ, GMA News
