4 'drug pushers' fall in sting operation in Makati


Amid the heavy rains brought by tropical storm “Falcon" (Meari), four suspected drug pushers were caught selling P100 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) in a sting operation in Makati City Friday afternoon. The four yielded 13 packs of shabu when they were collared at a gas station along Malugay Street, according to a report by radio dzBB’s Nimfa Ravelo. Metro Manila police director Chief Superintendent Allan Purisima identified the four as:

  • Wu Shishuang a.k.a. Sonny Cabrera Ng, a Chinese Filipino, 50;
  • Shengxi Li, 30, Chinese;
  • Yang Chi Ti, 26, Chinese; and
  • Sonny Co, 27, Chinese
Also seized from the four were a Nissan vehicle (XBB-266) and an Altis sedan (XRN-692). Purisima said the sting operation was the result of weeks of surveillance and intelligence operations on the suspects. The suspects are undergoing tactical interrogation at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City. — LBG, GMA News
