Petron, Shell, Eastern Petroleum, Flying V cut fuel prices

Motorists will get some relief as some local oil companies slash prices of petroleum products effective Sunday and Monday. On Sunday, oil giants Petron Corp. and Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and independent player Eastern Petroleum will reduce prices of diesel by P1.75 per liter, of kerosene by P2 per liter, and of gasoline by P0.75 per liter. Independent oil player Flying V Philippines will also cut Monday its prices of diesel by P1.50 a liter and of gasoline by P0.50 a liter. The latest price rollback followed price adjustments in the world oil market last week. Other oil companies have yet to issue their respective advisories as of this posting. — JE, GMA News
