Classes remained suspended Monday in at least nine public schools in Valenzuela City, one of the heavily flooded areas when rains from Tropical Storm Falcon (Meari) hit Metro Manila last week. A report on dzBB radio early Monday said the city public information office identified the nine schools as:

Fernando Elementary School Tagalag Elementary School Meanwhile, the Department of Education Metro Manila office expects classes to resume in most schools in the metropolis, dzBB's Glen Juego reported. The report said the DepEd NCR expects no more schools used as evacuation centers.
